Three events between now and November, what the content needs to do for each one, and what is still open. Scroll it in two minutes.
This page stays live and I keep it updated. Same link every time, so you are never digging through emails for the current version.
Which changes how we shoot, not just how much. The same moment often needs capturing more than once, framed differently.
The event itself, Beyond as a brand, post event content, and promo for next year's edition.
Including the two celebrity fronted ones. Shot so it can live on separate brand channels without looking recycled.
Each wants their own cut for their own channels. That is a third framing again on the same moments.
"We're not really looking to make too much money on this. We just want to put everything that we get back into making it sick."
That is the whole brief really, and it is why I am building the crew around coverage rather than around a headcount.
Panels, fireside chats and the catwalk all happen here.
Has a sightline down onto the main stage. That elevated angle is free coverage.
Food court and activations at the entrance. Contained, not spread out.
The Indigo runs TV shows. If we take a feed we save rigging a whole set of angles.
Sony podcast slot still to be placed. Timings are written your side, the names in the slots are not all confirmed.
Every panel and fireside chat end to end, multicam, clean audio off the desk.
The nuggets from the panels. Creators in sport, Sidemen, Baller League, Fabrizio Romano.
11 Labs, Canva, CBR, Strava, Sony. Their speaker plus branded shorts for their channels.
For Beyond, and for selling next year's edition.
Its own camera positions, because the room changes for it.
Plus a bank of photos, promoting the event itself for next year.
The warm up run, the venue reveal and the outdoor activations.
Once the main day wraps, with a fresh operator.
A normal drone will not take off in central London without jailbreaking it, and we are not doing that.
The route is an FPV operator on custom built kit flown through goggles, by someone whose actual job is flying drones.
Your point was right: because we are working with the O2 directly there should be a way to get a licensed window, even if it is 30 minutes and supervised. Worth pushing from the venue side.
You floated emailing the sponsors outside the premium five, offering the same package as a paid add on at around £2.5k each.
Happy to support that. I can write the section describing what they actually get, so it reads like a product rather than an upsell.
One thing it changes on my side: every extra package is more coverage on the day, so I need a cut off date for how many bought in.
This is not really an event film. It is a fundraising asset with an event attached.
Which means the announcement piece matters more than the room coverage, and it has to be in the can early, before the room gets loud.
Straight to camera, filmed in a quiet corner. Built for the Crowdcube listing and for sending direct to investors.
Room, canapés, conversation, faces. Composed rather than run and gun, given the crowd.
Points at Creative Brands Live, and uses the night as proof the thing is real.
For the Crowdcube listing and the deck.
If it lands, worth me knowing before we shoot. Their listing has spec requirements that are much easier to hit on the night than to fix afterwards.
Canva are paying, not you. Set up as a favour because they are lined up as one of the biggest sponsors in November. You are organising it and bringing the people but not funding it, so Canva have to sign off on us.
Your reasoning for wanting us on it rather than their own operator was the bit I agreed with most. If they shoot their side and we shoot ours it gets messy on sign off, and you want your team approving content before it goes to them rather than the other way round.
So the pitch to Canva is not that we are cheaper. It is one team, one approval chain, and content that works for both of you.
Canva want a strong end of year and are using this as a push for their London activity.
Working backwards: shoot it, edit it, release it with enough runway to actually move sales before year end. Early October is about the latest that works, which is where we landed.
No date, no scope, no sign off yet. I am treating it as a maybe and I have not built anything around it.
Green is done, amber is waiting on someone. Nothing here should be a surprise.
Once I have the deck and the media pack I can put real numbers against the day rather than estimates. Anything on this page that is wrong, tell me and I will correct it.
